About Us

Lindens Primary School

Lindens is a Community Primary School catering for children from three to eleven years and is situated on the edge of a pleasant residential area, adjacent to open farm land and the nearby Sutton Park.

The school is housed in modern adapted premises having been a 9-13 years Middle school until 1986. The school is well resourced in most respects and the building lends itself very readily to effective teaching-learning situations. The large central area provides excellent practical facilities for design and technology, artwork and ICT Suite technology as well as the main school library and an area for parents working within the school.

Outside, there are two large hard surfaced playgrounds, one of which is for Foundation stage children, both of which has supervised Play Structure equipment. For outdoor activities such as games, as well as lunchtimes in the better weather, the children have supervised access to our own playing fields and additional hard surfaced area occupying a position adjacent to The Streetly School’s playing fields. This area is a short walk, via steps and a private footpath.
