History is the study of people in the past and how their actions have influenced our lives today.
Geography lends itself as a highly cross-curricular subject that encourages children to critically examine, explore, appreciate and comprehend the world in which we inhabit.
Each of the year groups within our school teach History, Geography, Art and D.T through a creative curriculum. (Please see separate Art and D.T page for further information about those subjects)
We teach up to three topics in each year group during the year.
We are so proud of the work that the children produce in their lessons!
Our topics throughout the School are:
Children of the World
Explorers Past and Present
Our Neighbours in Europe
The Great Fire of London (Famous People and Events)
The Cadbury Family (Famous People and Events)
The Generation Game
A Journey Through Time
To Infinity and Beyond (Space)
Greek Chic (Ancient Greece)
Here We Go To Mexico!

Subject Knowledge Organisers
Subject Knowledge Organisers aim to set out the key coverage points within each topic - in other words, what we aim to have taught children by the topic's conclusion.
You can view a PDF of the Subject Knowledge Organisers below.
Our topic webs aim to show where we link different subjects from across the curriculum, to fit within our given topics:
