NEW SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION
2021/22 New School Year
It was lovely to see our children return safely back to school on Monday 6th September.
From Monday 20th September school will revert to the original (pre-covid) start time. All children can enter school between 8.45am - 8.55am. We hope that this will keep the flow of both children and parents on the school site.
· Years 5/6 Collection at 3.15 pm
· Years 3 /4 Collection at 3.10 pm
· Years 1 /2/ Reception Collection at 3.00 pm
· Nursery collection at 12 pm
Drop off zones and collection zones are clearly labelled. Only one adult is permitted on site
with your child/children. There is a one-way system around school which is working extremely well – thank you for following the arrows when you drop your child off.
To keep everyone safe, the car park gates are closed between 8.30 am - 9.15 am, and
3.00 pm – 3.30pm. This ensures the safety of all whilst walking through the car park to the school exit. No cars/deliveries will be permitted onto the car park between these times except the school transport.
School Pods
All our children are working within year group pods. This gives the flexibility of target
teaching and enables us to implement a catch up program. Each key stage has its allocated
lunch time, break time and allocation of staff. Social distancing in school is encouraged wherever possible with staff wearing protective equipment when necessary.
Deep cleaning happens daily in school. We have an abundance of products so that all equipment, tables and chairs can be thoroughly cleansed.
School Lunches
All children eat in their allocated pods/classrooms. Junior children in receipt of Free School Meals will receive a hot-bagged meal - choice is limited to a vegetarian meal or non-vegetarian. All other junior children WILL need to bring a packed lunch to school. All Infant children will receive their universal free school meal- hot-bagged meal- choice is limited to a vegetarian meal or non-vegetarian, unless they wish to bring a packed lunch.
