Monday Madness!

Welcome to the first day of some "popped pod" home learning! Today, we have Maths, English and Creative Curriculum lessons, plus phonics. Everything you need is listed or linked below, with work set on Purple Mash.

Phonics:

This week we would have been revising our phonics thus far, so we have a mix of books and games across the week.

Miss Price's children are doing "Sharing" and Miss Westmancoat's children are revising key skills ready to move to Year 3 with some Starry Eyed Stan themed problems.

English:

Creative:

In "Contrasting Localities" we have been looking at Australia. We have some Australian themed Grid Reference work (including supporting, linked video) on Purple Mash.

For Thursday, we have Maths, English and some more Creative Curriculum. As you missed Guided Reading on Monday, we've set a traditional Aboriginal Dreamtime Story. You learnt about these last week when you made your "Rainbow Serpent"! Creative Curriculum:

This afternoon, we will be learning another 'Dreamtime' story from the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander People. Children heard one last week when they made their 'Rainbow Serpent'. Everything you need, including the video, is on Purple Mash.
