Samuel Pepys: Cheese and 'Wine'
During out Great Fire of London topic, we learned that Samuel Pepys was so desperate to save his parmesan cheese and wine that he buried it in the garden! We had a cheese and 'wine' (grape juice) afternoon, practised our quill writing and learned some Shelton's Shorthand code, which Pepys used in his diary!
