Each year, children from Years 3 and 4 have an opportunity to complete in 4 athletic events against other schools.  The format for the 'Quad Kids' has teams of up to 5 boys and girls competing, with the top 4 results scoring to a team position.  Usually held at the end of the summer term, this year was put back to September due to the very hot weather on the planned date (30 degrees plus!).  Instead of Years 3 & 4, the children who should have competed in the summer were allowed to take part, so a Years 4 & 5 event took place for a non-competitive event.

An interesting night of athletics, with the wind playing havoc with the marking tape for the howler throws!  The postponement also gave Lindens a chance to field more teams than expected, making it a large gathering for our future sports stars.
