The annual George Chatterfield Cup tournament at Millfield Primary took place in April.  The Lindens team, made up of girls from Years 2, 3 and 4, were ready to have a fun afternoon.  With a closed doors festival on, it was held during school hours, the teams arrived on a lovely sunny day.

Our girls got off to a flying start, winning all of their games, and conceding no goals.  Their last game, Christ Church.  A recent nemesis for the girls' teams.

Both teams had won each game, but only Lindens had a clean sheet.  The pressure was on.

Lindens took the lead, held on. CC came back into the game to draw level.  CC take the lead, Sophie challenges in the dying seconds to get a draw... but it's saved.

No trophy this year, but for several of the girls, they'll be back next year.
